Briggs and Stratton 020569-0 pressure washer Review

  • For outdoor cleaning projects including washing cars, patio furniture and driveways
  • Professional Series OHV 190cc Engine produces 8.75-foot-pounds of gross torque to power through your weekend projects
  • Maintenance free axial cam pump offers higher pressure output and low effort starting with no prime, no choke Easy Start Technology
  • Powerflow Technology so you can switch between high pressure for deep surface cleaning or high flow for long distance cleaning or rinsing
  • 2-year limited warranty

Impressive cleaning effectiveness, auto-choke starting, a built-in soap tank, and and a unique adjustable nozzle are attractions of this gas-powered pressure washer from Briggs & Stratton. The nozzle lets you dial to choose one of seven settings: three standard high-pressure and four high-flow, reduced-pressure settings. These four allow for cleaning agents and extended reach with a wand extension. One minus is that this washer lacks quick-connect attachments for the wand and pump. And although we found the washer somewhat loud, as with most other gas models, the 30-foot hose lets you keep it far enough away.

(Note: Because of the greater risk of injury, we recommend no pressure washer that comes with a zero-degree replaceable nozzle or setting, no matter how well it cleans.)

Briggs and Stratton 020569-0 pressure washer Test Results

Very easy to move and transport. Requires storage of gasoline. Hose less convenient to store than others. Wand not as convenient to remove. Easy to use and read on-off switch.

Briggs and Stratton 020569-0 pressure washer review

The Briggs & Stratton 020569-0 is part of the Pressure washer test program. In our lab tests, Pressure washer models like the 020569-0 are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.

Cleaning: Versatility and efficiency in cleaning a range of surfaces. The better performers have multiple spray patterns that can cover various cleaning chores, from light, superficial cleaning to deep cleaning of concrete, decking, and other hard-to-clean surfaces.

Power: A combination of pressure, measured in pounds per square inch (psi), and flow, measured in gallons per minute (gpm). Higher pressure results in better cleaning of a given surface; coupled with a higher flow as well, you’ll get the job done the fastest.

Noise: A combination of measurements, based on dBA, reflecting the proximity of the operator to the pressure washer. While our Noise score averages measurements taken close by the machine and at the end of the hose’s typical reach, we strongly strongly recommend hearing protection for working close by a gas powered pressure washer in particular.
